Product Knowledge: You must have in-depth knowledge about the OTC products you are selling, including their ingredients, uses, benefits, and potential side effects.
Customer Engagement: You will interact with various customers, including retailers, pharmacies, and end consumers.
Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote your OTC products.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that your sales practices and marketing efforts comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards governing the sale of OTC products.
Sales Targets: As a sales executive, you may have specific sales targets to meet. Regularly track your progress and make adjustments to your strategies to achieve or exceed these targets.
Communication: Effective communication skills are essential in presenting your products to potential buyers and negotiating deals with retailers or distributors.
Training and Education: Stay informed about the latest developments and advances in the OTC industry.
Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns that raise awareness and drive sales of your OTC products.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and other relevant data to track performance and assist in making informed decisions.
